All the details, such as dyes, embroidery, stitch work, fringe, edge finishes, etc., are kept as is to make one-of-a-kind pieces. We hand cut and hand finish the neck opening.
Irregularity is part of the design.

Reinforced Neck Openings

Both sides of the neck openings are finished with extra piece of indigo fabric to reinforce the tension area by hand stitching.

Binded Neck Opening

Raw edges of the neck opening are binded with indigo cloth for clean look.

Fringe on Hem

This original detail of the handwoven African Indigo Cloth is kept as is.
