MONITALY M29290 PATCHWORK VACATION SHIRT (MADE IN MADRAS)

A special collaboration with our partner factory in Madras, India.  Our long-term favorite fabric – the original Madras Plaid – is gathered in various design and colors in order to custom-make this patchwork fabric.  Unlike the usual patchwork fabrics, ours is incorporated in the solid navy frame.  

Fully lined with breathable soft Cotton fabric

This shirt is made with the fine Cotton lining, so that raw edge of the patchwork doesn’t show inside and it makes the shirt more comfortable to wear even directly on your skin. 

Open Collar

A relaxed collar with pointed mini lapels and a collar stand, which helps the collar roll up and down nicely.

Button Loop

Button loop provides the option to conceal the pointed lapels on the collar.

Patch Pocket

Two chest patch pockets with triangle stitching for reinforcement. It is important that fabric pattern matches on the body of the garment and patch pockets.   

Cuff Facing with Notch

A separate piece of fabric is applied on the cuffs to provide a clean finish and look. The notch on the top of the hem gives it a distinctive feature.

Flared Facing Shape Inside

The curved facing on this French Placket gives the shirt a unique and organic design.

Straight Hem

Out straight-cut bottom has a 1” hem, can be tucked in or left untucked.

Straight Yoke

Provides extra support for a long lasting shirt.

Back Loop

First appeared in 1960’s, locker loops keep shirts wrinkle free by hanging them up.

Side Pleats

Create extra range of motion for shoulders and back.

Side Slit

Side slits on the bottom provide more room for movement.
